The case
Breitling’s latest creation is dedicated to Wheels and Waves, the world’s leading motorcycle, surfing, and skateboarding festival. The Breitling Premier Wheels and Waves Limited Edition watch arrives in two versions: 18-k red gold, limited to 100 pieces, and a stainless steel version available in a 500-piece series. The cases in both materials feature an engraved plate with a SPECIAL inscription, positioned on the left side of the case.
The dial
Breitling Wheels and Waves Limited Edition replica watch feature beautiful and masculine anthracite dials with golden hour markers, hour and minute hands. The central seconds hand is painted in red, while the edge of the dial features a white inner bezel with a black tachymeter scale. Like all Breitling watches, the Premier Wheels and Waves is COSC-certified. The watch face reveals two contrasting black subdials: a minute counter at 3 o’clock and a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock.
The movement
A see-through case-back reveals the workings of Breitling’s flagship Manufacture Caliber 01, the in-house automatic movement endowed with 70 hours of power reserve. The case-back for the 18 k red gold version is engraved with a “ONE OF 100” inscription; while the stainless-steel model is engraved “ONE OF 500”. In both of its renditions, Wheels and Waves timepiece is presented on a brown Nubuck leather strap.
